I Am Free From His Wrath...

Wrath. What is an example of wrath? Google says an example of wrath is the way you would feel after your brand new car is stolen and destroyed.

Punishment or vengeance as a manifestation of anger. Biblically, the “example” is much simpler. It is death. A harsh death. Eternal death. Death even as we are living. It is a fool’s choice.

I was a fool in this way for many years. I drank when I wanted. I never even concerned myself with consequences, how I acted or whom I hurt. I willingly lived in the sin of addiction.

I became where my living was futile and my heart was darkened. I didn’t want to live in such a condition.

God was the only way to change the path I was on. Knowing God is the just, righteous and FORGIVING God I sought him. I knew He was the only one whom could save me from condemnation and wrath. I knew if I turned back to him he would not only forgive me with His mercy, but through His grace He would give me the freedom to live a righteous life.

To live a life without addiction and shame.

Through His freedom I am able to live for Him. To follow Him. To do His will and be His child to show others how wonderful the one living God is. I no longer am a fool whom worships a bottle.

I wised up, and now forever seek the glory of the immortal God.
